The latest album of the Argentinian superstar Semino Rossi is called 'Augenblicke (Moments)'. Semino Rossi's past years have been marked by numerous tours, great success and a great deal of time spent in recording studios, which, after his 2010 tour came to an end, led him to quietly think matters over. His latest album 'Augenblicke' reflects these thoughts, and with its musical diversity opens all the doors to the world of this charming and likeable Argentinian. In line with the motto: Enjoy every single, wonderful moment, because moments are precious, Semino Rossi again presents us with a highly diverse, musical gem of a very special kind. The songs are in German as well as Spanish and music styles such as German Schlager, international pop music and Latin American spirit blend into a fascinating cocktail.

Those who personally know Semino are always impressed by the spirituality and human warmth he radiates and which are the cornerstone of his charisma. People very soon recognise that the person before them sings with his whole heart and opens up his innermost feelings. Apart from his inspiring voice, these characteristics certainly also form part of his success. There can be no doubt that today Semino Rossi is one of the most successful and popular German Schlager stars. An ECHO, four AMADEUS and numerous other awards as well as countless gold and platinum records, sold-out concert halls and more than 3.5 million albums sold are things that Semino Rossi had hardly ever dared dream of.

The album 'Augenblicke' mainly consists of songs characterised by feelings and yearning. The first single 'Das Tor zum Himmel ist die Liebe (The Gate to Heaven is Love)' is his personal song of love to his wife and, incidentally, encapsulates his lucky evolution from a street musician to Schlager star, in which their love plays an important role. Those who know their love story know that especially Gabi has always believed in her husband's talent and has unceasingly supported him throughout, and exactly this history is reflected in the text: "I always think back on my life without luck, the whole world was without happiness, I did not know that you existed. Now, you are my sunshine and I no longer feel alone." The words and the lovely music perfectly reflect this romantic love and deep feeling.

With the successful rewriting of Toni Braxton's hit 'Unbreak my Heart' into German as 'Heal my Heart', Semino quite impressively proves that he can give every hit his personal stamp and that he is able to lead a song to new bundaries. 'Heil mir mein Herz (Heal my Heart)' is a wonderful ballad, perfectly arranged with strings and full orchestra backing. One could even call it a superlative love-song which, combined with Rossi's magnificent voice, becomes a musical treat and reaches a level hardly ever heard in German Schlager. But there are also some straight, catchy Schlager on 'Augenblicke' that invite you to sway in time to the music. In other words, exactly the songs his fans love so much. A very good example of this is the track 'Sag noch einmal, dass du mich lieb hast (Say once more that you love me)'. This is a top class Rossi Schlager which combines everything the Schlager star Rossi in known for. The song has a refrain that is easy to sing along with, a rhythm that invites you to sway and clap to the music and it also contains just the right words about love. What more could Schlager fans wish for? 'Augenblicke' contains five songs in his native language which are, as always, exceptional. Four of them are rewrites of unforgettable international hits such as 'Blue Bayou' (in Spanish 'Lago Azul'), 'Unchained Melody' (in Spanish 'Melodia Desencadenada') and 'Please Release Me' (the Spanish version of this song is called 'Los Recuerdos de tu Amor') as well as 'Sierra Madre del Sur'. Semino always wanted to sing his English favourites in Spanish, because "Spanish songs are not only well-loved by my fans, but also I like them very much," says Semino enthusiastically. "I always enjoy singing in my mother tongue and especially these songs have always touched me very deeply." With 'Augenblicke', Semino Rossi gives us undisputed proof that quality ultimately always prevails and that music is the best way to bring people closer to personal impressions and experiences, be they joyful or painful. In whatever language they may be, Semino Rossi's songs touch his audience and enthral people with the beauty of their musical arrangement, their emotionality and, of course, also with Semino's incomparable voice.
