Thirty sold out concerts were the hallmark of his last, successful concert tour in 2009. "He is the one who makes (not only) mothers happy", wrote the Münchner Merkur about the man where age does not show. "I would like to make every single one of you happy, but I just don't have enough time", flirts Peter Kraus mainly with his female audience. From this point of view, 2012 will be a lucky year for many of his fans, as, after more than 20 years, Peter Krause has decided to go on tour again with a REVIEW. 'The Great Peter Kraus Revue - Forever in Jeans' means first and foremost non-stop music and Rock'n Roll. In 2012, Peter Kraus and his highly appreciated colleagues and friends will demonstrate, how incredibly entertaining (and mobile) one can be after sixty years in show business.
Apart from Peter Kraus' ALL STAR BAND and the dancers and singers of MOONLIGHT DANCERS & SUGARBABIES, he is particularly looking forward to the participation of his other three guests. For the first time, his son, Mike Kraus will appear on stage in a large-scale project and cross the generation gap to give an incomparable, live demonstration of their joint elixir of life - their music. But in addition, Peter Kraus will 'power up' with his friend Andy Lee Lang, Austria's 'ambassador' of Rock'n Roll, and, not to forget, the unforgettable music artist BARBARA ENDLE, will accompany Peter singing and dancing as 'Sugar'.
Peter Kraus is, and remains, the teenage idol of the 50s, Germany's undisputed answer to ELVIS and the 'musical mod par excellence' (Süddeutsche Zeitung). With his easy-going, relaxed way and his still unmistakable hip swing, Peter Kraus never ceases to conquer the hearts of his audience.
Hits such as 'Tutti Frutti', 'Wenn Teenager träumen (When Teenagers dream)', 'Hula Baby' or 'Sugar Baby' remain in a league of their own. You can look forward to an opulent show. 'The Great Peter Kraus Revue' consists of a firework of gags and choreographic scenes that will entertain and amuse you from the very first minute. In addition to the many Peter Kraus hits, many new titles and adaptations of well-known songs are on offer, which Peter and his team have rewritten, in their well-known style, with German texts. Here, old and new solo titles and duets meet together, packed into enthralling dance numbers, and are presented by an artist, who remains an unbeaten teaser.
In around 40 German, Austrian and Swiss towns, the 'Great Peter Kraus Revue - Forever in Jeans' will take the audiences on a journey through time to the 50s and, with a twinkle in the eye, will bring back memories to the older generations and give the younger ones an insight into how their parents and grand parents lived out their puberty.
Peter Kraus guarantees an entertaining evening in the form of a fast-moving, humorous and musically enchanting revue. He remains the ageless symbol of the Rock'n Roll era - still in jeans, still with his finger on the pulse of the times.
