Die Gala der Königspferde
Emotions Tour 2012
A spectacular, two-hour programme full of emotion awaits you! All the breeds appearing, such as Andalusians, Arabs, Lipizzaner, Lusitanians and Friesians were once incredibly valuable, living jewels of European Royal Courts. Even today, these horses still have "royal" inscribed in their studbook. The more than 30 baroque stallions have been patiently trained for years; they are exceedingly rare and coveted all over the world.
Amongst the highlights of the current show 'The Royal Horse Gala – Emotions Tour 2012’ are: Daring French stunt riders who perform breathtaking rides, stand on galloping Lusitanos even while jumping obstacles. Spanish thoroughbreds, known as Andalusians, step dance in tune to enthralling rhythms together with equally exciting flamenco dancers. During the 'Airs Above the Ground' from the baroque period, the four-legged artists seem to explode with energy and leap freely into the air. The shining black Lipizzaner Perla is not only a true rarity of his breed, but under Alojz Lah, the stallion brilliantly performs incredible movements, such as the Courbette. The arena really gets crowded during the School Quadrille, when the noble breeds, once coveted by kings and emperors, can once more be admired all together.
The Gala is backed by an impressive light and sound show which makes time fly, and the masterpieces are performed are breakneck speed, are sophisticated and of the highest level of equestrianism. It is an unforgettable experience for the whole family - in the spring of 2012 also in Austria.
